What People are Saying

The Moutzouris trilogy started in 2010 with Anthony, followed in 2013 with Callan and our journey comes to an end with our youngest Archie graduating in 2021..’ with their hat and backpacks, uniforms and shiny shoes…’ off they go to school! There are not enough words to express our sincere thanks, Gaby, to you and your incredible team over the years for the dedication, care, and genuine guidance in preparing all three of our children for the world. Their early education journey was cemented in passion, discipline, kindness, and understanding that all three of our boys are uniquely individual. From the meticulous planning of their education, activities, and menus to the support, friendship and care you have dedicated to our boys over the years is beyond words. We hold CK in the highest regard so much so that we are pleased that our family members (cousins) continue their early childhood education journey with you at CK. It is difficult for us to say goodbye to this special place and environment you have created but we are able to know that you have supported us in molding and preparing all three boys for their next steps in life. We look forward to visiting in the years ahead and keeping you involved in their development and achievements as the years go on.

Bethany graduated from Carlingford Kindergarten yesterday in a beautiful ceremony.  Mrs Oly, Mrs Abby, and the team did an amazing job (as per usual), especially given the impacts COVID restrictions have had on their preparation. For 7 and a half years I have trusted my babies to Mrs Oly and her team and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.  Mrs Oly has been there for us in our moments of greatest happiness and devastating sadness and has always given us unwavering support.  It's with great sadness that we are leaving such a beautiful environment but I know they have helped both Spencer and Bethany to become the well-rounded children that they are

WOW! I guess this is it. I really don’t know what to say, but I know I have so much. Thank you for everything all of you. You are amazing educators and the perfect team. Thank you for looking after both Joshua and Oliver and of course all the support you have given Anthony and me.
Going to miss you lots!

The post “We give you back your child! “ Reading this made me cry! Thank you, Mrs Oly, Mrs Abbie, and the entire CK team. You guys do such an amazing job. Can’t imagine how you guys go through all the emotions at the end of every year. Your job is hard, but so rewarding and meaningful!! When Thomas was born, I asked our friends Queenie and Kevin about childcares in the area. They said to me “Just put your name down for CK. It’s the best one, don’t even bother about the other ones”. I’m so glad I took their advice! Thank you for supporting and nurturing Thomas over the years, CK is his beloved second home and he is going to miss it so much. Luckily he still has two younger brothers, so he can still come to visit at drop-offs and pickups.

Thank you so much for instilling the spirit of love, patience, generosity, and courage in Noah. You have influenced Noah’s life in so many positive ways. Your ingenious methods of teaching counting, arts and crafts, and reading are outstanding. I’m seeing great improvement in Noah's cognitive and social development. A heartfelt thanks again for all your efforts, the gifts, and the letter. We view ourselves as extremely lucky to have found your childcare center to take care of our three boys. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and have a wonderful 2021!

I can hardly believe that it’s been a year and a half since Gram joined CK, because it seems like you have been part of our family for much longer.  I am so grateful that we found you at the time we did and you have brought so much love, joy, and gentleness into Grams life. Magnolia has also taken to you and is particularly taken by Mr Jan! Your dedication to and passion for enriching the lives of the children you have been entrusted with does not go unnoticed. You care about the little details and the little moments because you know that the little moments equate to a big life.  I am devastated to be leaving CK and I’m sure  I’ll never find another centre that is as good as yours.  If every childcare centre had a captain at the helm like you, the world would change for the next generation.  I can’t thank you enough for loving our kids and please accept my immense gratitude for who you are and all you’ve done.

My son turned 5 in May 2019.   It was that difficult time when we as parents had to decide whether to send our son to school that year as a 4.5-year-old or hold him back and send him in 2020. We decided to hold him back so he could continue his journey at Carlingford Kindergarten where he could mature more and build more confidence. Of course, there were always question marks in our heads on whether we made the right choice. I can confidently say that after seeing our son at his first school transition we are so relieved that we waited.  He absolutely thrived just on his first day.  He was so excited to get there and make new friends and he is counting the sleeps until his next session.  Looking at where he is now and where he was at the same time last year we have absolutely no regrets.
He would have been 50-60% ready for school last year but is 100% ready for school now.

I remember the first day we dropped Lucas off at CK and how super scared he was. He has come a long way from that crying little boy to the confident little fellow he is now. He has grown leaps and bounds in his 3 years at CK. You made coming to daycare such a delight for him and that made him love going to CK every single day. As a parent, that’s all you could ever ask for. It’s funny how when you go on a site visit to a daycare centre for the first time, especially for first-time parents (such as the first time we did it), what you care about and pay attention to are the facilities and the environment in the centre. But as time passes, you’ll soon realise that all that is secondary. Truly, what is important are the people that make up the centre. You, the educators are the most important part. Your nurturing ways and your relationship with our son is what made all the difference in Lucas’ life, and the friendships he has developed along the way. And we are so glad we made that decision 3 years ago to send him there. Thank you for making our life easier over the past three years. And thank you for your love and care for Lucas. We are forever grateful. Wherever and whichever path he may go from here on, know that you guys are a great part of who he may become in the future.

Since our son started his first day in Carlingford Kindergarten, we have had lots of memorable moments and funny stories in the past 3 years. Thank you so much for caring Nicholas and all your work for the kids. We still remember his first day when picked him up, Abbie carried a poor and tearing Koala near the sandpit. From that day, we always listened to the suggestions from this team when we got questions as they were reliable and trustworthy.  We are from different countries and have different cultural backgrounds, we very much appreciate that we could meet this team at one of the most important times in our lives. They supported our family with plenty of their own experiences to solve our problems and relieve our anxieties. Nicholas is going to a big school soon, we believe he will perform confidently in his new school life as he is graduated from Carlingford Kindergarten.
Again, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts and we will highly recommend Carlingford Kindergarten to my friends.
