Carlingford Kindergarten is a fully equipped
Early Learning Service.
A privately owned centre, Gabriele Olejniczak – the Owner / Director and teacher has owned the centre since 1991. Active in the Child Care industry since 1982, Gabriele has a wealth of experience and knowledge for providing the best possible care and environment for children, their families and centre staff. Gabriele is supported by a passionate and professional team of educators. We employ well above the required level of trained and experienced educators all holding current first-aid certificates (inclusive of CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis).
At Carlingford Kindergarten we deliver the most current early Childhood Curriculum: The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
The Early Years Learning Framework says that a curriculum is – “all the interactions, experiences, activities, routines and events, planned and unplanned, that occur in an environment designed to foster children’s learning and development” (source – EYLF document, pg. 9).
At Carlingford Kindergarten we have always provided and assisted in the creation of fabulously alive learning environments where the children have opportunities to learn through play as they discover, create, improvise and imagine as they interact in peer playgroups or play alone, a fundamental principle of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Our first step in providing our curriculum is to build relationships with the families of our centre. This enables our Educators to continue along the path and provide an extension for each individual child to the teaching and education provided to them in their homes. This is all facilitated within the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) style of learning followed by Carlingford Kindergarten.

The Early Years Learning Framework acknowledges:
The diversity in family life means that children experience Belonging, Being, and Becoming in many different ways. Children bring their diverse experiences, perspectives, expectations, knowledge, and skills to their learning.
We provide a play-based learning environment that enables the children to explore a context for learning. They have opportunities to organize and make sense of their world, as they engage actively with people, objects, and representations.
Carlingford Kindergarten is tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac that provides a low-traffic, safe environment for dropping off and picking up children.
Carlingford Kindergarten is open for 49 weeks each year. Operating hours are 8 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday, providing parents with greater flexibility around their work, family holidays, and other commitments.
Regular, daily discussions between educators & parents as well as opportunities to talk with educators at drop off and pick up times. Families and educators are able to communicate via telephone or email or by leaving written messages for each other.

At Carlingford Kindergarten we realise “It’s often the little things you do that make a big difference” and this is so true when it comes to caring for children and their families.
Our team takes pride in going that extra mile. Whether its an unexpected call to Mum or Dad to give them an update on their child, working with families to assist a child’s acceptance of a new sibling at home, or our extra special birthday celebrations – these are just some of the things we do to provide a wonderfully special time at Carlingford Kindergarten!
