Carlingford Kindergarten is a privately owned, fully equipped Service with beautiful gardens and grounds providing safe, familiar, and secluded play areas. Designed to be changed frequently, our play areas encourage the natural curiosity in children to promote their interest and learning.

We are specialists in caring for children and have an excellent, dedicated team of passionate, long-term educators.

Carlingford Kindergarten offers a combination of family grouping that encourages children of all ages to mix freely and times when the children are engaged with peers in play. We cater for children aged 2 to 6 years of age.

We take pride in providing an environment that provides a home away from home by providing opportunities for parents and educators to work together and enhance a child’s learning and well-being. We practice The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The Framework has a strong emphasis on play-based learning as play is the best vehicle for young children’s learning providing the most appropriate stimulus for brain development.

We believe our role as educators is to work with children and families to prepare children for the world beyond kindergarten and life’s journey in a stimulating, safe, and encouraging environment of self-discovery.

The combination of excellent facilities, highly motivated, experienced, and professional staff, and the most current early childhood curriculum (EYLF) – we believe, enables us to provide the best possible care and learning experience for your child.

To be offered a placement at our service you must be on our waiting list.
To place your children on the waiting list, please complete the online form and submit it to secure your child’s position.
There is no application fee to join our waiting list and families are welcome to join by completing the online waiting list form. You will be notified as soon as your child’s requested days of attendance become available.
Please note that Carlingford Kindergarten has a minimum of two-day enrolment requirement per child. Being at Carlingford Kindergarten for two days or more per week helps your child to settle in quickly and to get the most out of our curriculum.

When a vacancy becomes available for the days you require we will contact you to make an appointment for arrange a tour of our service. A tour is your chance to meet our educators, see the beautiful learning environment, and discuss your specific needs one-on-one with our educators.

Vacancies are allocated according to availability, which is dependent on the age of the child, days sought, and whether there are siblings requiring care. If a position is offered and a parent declines the waiting list application is re-dated and placed at the end of the list.
